Yes! As long as you have a supported smartphone, Mac or PC and an internet or data connection, you can access live content as the gig unfolds.
Yes, tracks that you purchase can be downloaded to your computer. Visit http://app.Livetraxs.com/me on your Mac or PC, browse to a Live Set you've purchased and click on a track to see different download options. Tracks are available as high quality audio and video files.
We record both audio and video, and give you both of these with each purchase. If you just want to listen, all your audio tracks are just a tap away.
Downloading/streaming content over 3G and Wi-Fi uses more battery, so if you're attending a gig and want to make the most of Livetraxs, make sure you charge your batteries first! On most devices devices, playing back saved audio/video does not use a lot of battery and Livetraxs is no exception.
You will need a Wi-Fi or 3G connection in order to watch or listen to tracks on the Apple iOS web app. With the iOS Livetraxs Player app and the Livetraxs Android app you can playback tracks that have been previously downloaded even when you do not have an internet connection. For best performance we suggest you stream and download tracks over a wifi connection.
Fans with Apple devices can preview, purchase, watch and share tracks with the Livetraxs web app, accessible at Livetraxs.com.
Any Livetraxs tracks that you have purchased can be downloaded to your tablet or desktop computer from Livetraxs.com. You can then transfer these downloaded audio and video files into iTunes and sync to your iPod or other portable devices.
Audio tracks are supplied in m4a format at 192kbps. Video tracks are supplied in mp4 format at 320p/480p/720p (desktop only).
On Android this depends on the number of tracks that you have downloaded to your device, and Livetraxs temporarily stores tracks that you watch or listen in order to minimize the use of bandwidth. The amount of disk space used for this varies. On the Apple iOS web app tracks are not saved to your device, so you only need enough space to hold the track you're listening to at the time.
This depends on your mobile data plan. To avoid any additional fees we suggest that you download tracks to your Apple iOS device (with the Livetraxs Player app) or your Android device (with the Livetraxs app) using wifi. If you watch or listen to tracks in the iOS Livetraxs Player app or the Android Livetraxs app that have been downloaded to your device, you will not be using your data plan for playback. You can check whether tracks have been downloaded to your Apple or Android device by tapping the track name on a Set screen. The Livetraxs web app on your Apple device does not save tracks to the device, so playback will occur via streaming. To reduce bandwidth usage, get the Livetraxs Player app for iOS from the Apple App Store.
Yes! You can purchase just your favourite tracks. And just because we love you, we'll give you the entire set free once the cost of the tracks you've purchased in a set exceeds the price of the set.
Yes, tracks that you purchase are accessible through Livetraxs on all your devices if you are logged in via the same email, Google+ or Facebook account on each device.
